Boohbah

Quinn has a Television show that she likes to watch. It's called Boohbah. I know, I know, at first we were adamant about not letting Quinn watch as much TV as her parents do. But that quickly ended when we realised that she would be captivated by this show and we could have 15-30 minuets of baby free time. Some of you, who have had kids, know that all your values are outweighed when offered 15-30 minutes of free time. Time to do anything we like to do. Like write blog entrys about Quinn watching TV. So watch away Quinn!
This show is extremely trippy. We remembers seeing the toys related to the show at the store and being weirded out by them. But I had the same reaction when I saw the toys for Tellatubbies, and it's no wonder why. Apparently Boohbah was created by the creator of the Tellatubbies. It is made for a younger audience (if you can imagine that). The idea behind the show is to get kids off their buts and to jump around. Quinn's not quite ready for the jumping part of the show, but when the show is on she's glued to the TV. Sometimes we watch the show with her and try to move her around the same way the Boohbah's do. She seems to like that.

Mommy Preference
Quinn has officially developed a Mommy preference. She's okay with me, but if she knows Allison is in the room she keeps trying to get her attention. More importantly she's always trying to get Allison to pick her up. I read about this, so I was prepared for it. But I have to admit, sometimes I feel like I'm back at the High School dance, dancing with a girl who's okay with me, but is always looking around for someone better.

Qunn's First Teeth
I was riding in the back seat of the car. We were on our way to look at a house for sale. I was in the back keeping Quinn entertained when she grabbed my finger and put it in her mouth. That's when I felt two hard ridges! That's right, Quinn's first teeth have officially broken through her gums as witnessed in these pictures:

Happy 7th month Quinn
Our little girl isn’t so little any more. That’s right she’s seven months and she’s well on her way to being and adult. Well, maby just a toddler, but look at her face, hasn't she filled out? This picture was taken when we stopped and picked up lunch on the way to visit Matt and Erin. This is what Quinn looks like while she watches me eat. This isn't a moment in time, this is what she looks like the entire time that I eat. She gets mad when we eat in front of her. She doesn’t know what to do, she doesn’t cry or act out. I don’t think she knows what she wants but she’ll stare at you like this the entire time. We've been feeding her more solid food now. She loves bannanas. But when she eats she becomes quite a mess.Today I took Quinn to the beach. She didn’t like it as much as I thought she would. I wanted to see what she would think of sand and waves. But it was windy and bright. I think the wind kept pushing sand in Quinn’s face. I hiked her down to the beach with our big backpack. On the way back she didn't want to be in it, she wanted to be held. I think she was super tired. On the way back we stopped at a park. I picked her a daisy. She loved it. She held on to it all the way home. She was so pooped that she didn't wait to get home, fell asleep as a carred her into the elevator of our appartment complex. When I got home I took this picture. She was still holding her daisy.
